As the Community Director, you’ll lead both the clinical and operational success of the home:
- Guide, coach, and support care staff (CMAs, CHHAs, and activities team)
- Hire, train, and develop a strong, reliable team
- Manage staffing schedules to ensure consistent coverage
- Complete resident assessments (admissions, quarterly, and as needed)
- Oversee medication administration and clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with NJ DOH regulations and company standards
- Conduct audits, quality checks, and maintain accurate records
- Serve as the main point of contact for families and healthcare providers
- Lead engaging community events and support daily programming
- Partner with marketing to maintain occupancy and lead tours
- Create a welcoming, well-run home environment for residents and staff
- Active LPN license (New Jersey required)
- 1+ year of experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, or home care
- Prior leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s care
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and learning new systems
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required
